Stressed Out!
What Helps Lower Your Stress.

  1. Don't hold your feelings inside. Talk to a friend, journal, pray, or talk to your pet. They are good listeners.

Exercise, take a walk, go to the park or gym. Exercising does help raise levels of certain mood-enhancing neurotransmitters in the brain, boost endorphins and reduces the stress hormone, cortisol. All this contributes to making us feel better.

Avoid alcohol as it is a depressant and will make you even more stressed.

Take time to relax and have fun. Do something that you enjoy, go to a movie, sports, photography, go to the zoo or museum. Take up a hobby.

Laughter is a good way to reduce stress. Watch a funny movie or read a funny book. Laugh with your friends.

Avoid being around negatvity. Always think positive and avoid the negative thoughts. When you are around negativity, how does it make you feel?

Get a massage as it increases blood flow and helps decrease tension.

Make goals for yourself. Make sure they are realistic goal as it may set you up for failure or frustration.

Have structure in your life.

Change is stressful but also can be good. Try to accept change as being positive.

Remember always love yourself.

A Mother's Love
A Tribute to My Mother, Anna
My Mom was a very special lady
who I miss dearly.
I lost her when I was twelve years old and I believe she is at my side every day.
I have been through many trials and tribulations and my mom has helped me in spirit.
I do thank her for helpng me be a good person.
I would not have made it without her.
I know she is with our Dear Lord and His Angels.
Thank you Mom for being such a wonderful person.
Love you always.
Faith and Kindness
In todays reading at Mass, James talked about faith and deeds towards the poor. Is faith true if we do not help out the poor? We must do as Chrisit did, lived among the poor.
"Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters.
Has not God chosen the poor in the world to be rich in faith and to be heirs of the kingdom that
he has promised to those who love Him?
James 2: 5-6
The sun rays remind me of God's eternal and unconditional love shinning upon us.
"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but do not have works? Can faith save you? If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill, and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that? So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead."
James 2:14-17
Ask yourself, What have you done to make a difference in someones' life?

Do You Believe In Miracles?
Miracles happen around us all the time, great or small. We just don't take the time to look or listen.
Faith is a big componant and at times our faith is limited. We need to trust in God and have patience. We need to focus on Our Lord and have faith.
Take a moment and ask yourself, do you believe in miracles?
As it is written, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love

The Beauty of God's Creation

I love to sit by the water and just meditate on how God created such a beautiful picture of the water and sky. How can we not believe that there is a God. God loves us and He gives us strength by His beautiful creations. God is always with us, always ready to respond to our prayers.
Take time out to enjoy the marvalous beauty of God's creation. Take time to rest, pray, talk to Our Lord especially when our physical and spiritual batteries are running low. Turn your thoughts and prayers to the Lord.
"And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." http://matthew28:20/
